PRIVACY POLICY; GUIDELINES TO FEATURES AND SERVICES

PINS integrated Solutions Limited (PINS) respect the security and privacy of your data and Intellectual Property (IP). Therefore, our Private Policy helps to explain our practices around the information we collect and how it affects you, what we do with the information; who we share the information with and the steps we take to protect your privacy.

This Privacy Policy shall be read along with our Terms & Conditions and the polices within this document applies to all of our product, apps, software, add-on, extension, website, online services, licence code, features, functionality, content or service unless specified otherwise.

PINS Integrated Solution may review and modify this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in law or to our services, however, the most current version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use or access PINS Solutions Services or the site after the revisions come into effect, you agree to be bound by the revised polices

We believe it should be easy for you to understand our privacy policies. That’s why we’re launching an updated and streamlined Privacy Policy that explains in clear language what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and controls you have.

PINS Solution Services cannot transmit data about a user without obtaining user’s permission and providing the user with access to information about how and where the data will be used. We don’t sell to third parties; and we only use it as this privacy statement/policy describes.

The information you provide to us will be sent to the recovery team to help facilitate the recovery of your lost or stolen phone. Please, note that Pins will only gather and extract recovery information from our solution and send to the our partners who work in collaboration with the Law Enforcement Agencies for the recovery of your lost or stolen phone. Please bear in mind that Pins is not a recovery agent or an insurance company

MODIFICATION OF PINS SOLUTION SERVICES PRIVACY POLICY AGREEMENT

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this privacy policy, Terms & Condition, Agreement or any Guidelines at any time. Please check this Agreement and all Guidelines occasionally for changes. Your continued use of the PINS Solutions Services after the posting of any modifications or changes constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes. Please note that additional and/or different conditions and terms of use may apply to services or products provided through one or more of our partners, advertisers, or business associates, and you should refer to those before using such services or products. For any material changes to this Agreement or any Guidelines, you acknowledge and agree that any such amended or modified terms shall automatically be effective thirty (30) days after they are initially posted on PINS Solutions Services.

OWNERSHIP; PROPRIETARY RIGHTS

The PINS Solutions Services are owned and operated by PINS Integrated Solutions. The PINS Solutions Services (information, graphics & design, compilation, software content, visual interfaces, computer code, products, services, including, but not limited to, the mobile device applications, and all other elements of the PINS Solutions Services (collectively, the “Materials”) are protected by copyright, patent, trademark laws, and conventions, and all other relevant intellectual property and proprietary rights, and applicable laws. All Materials contained in the PINS Solutions Services are the property of PINS Integrated Solutions or affiliated companies or its subsidiaries and/or third-party licensors. Except as expressly authorized by PINS Integrated Solutions, you agree not to trade, license, distribute, modify, copy, publicly perform or display, publish, edit, transmit, adapt, create derivative works from, or otherwise make unauthorized use of the Materials.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • Sign-up Information

During the initial sign-up, PINS Solution Services will require you to provide us with some personal information to register you to an account such as names, email, password, alternative mobile number, security question and subscribers profile picture. These information’s are compulsory excluding profile picture(optional) to enable us uniquely identify PINS mobile security subscribers. When you use the PINS solution services, our servers automatically record certain information about your information from your mobile device.

  • During usage and Device Information

Further information that will be captured will be from your device or during the use of our services. Some of this information will be captured automatically through our server or optional depending on your choice of services such as contact back-up, Pin intruder information, sim card replacement alert and diagnostics information.

When you use the PINS Solution Services, our servers automatically record certain information about your information from your mobile device. This server securely logs may include information such as device name, device type, manufacturer, device serial number, operating system type and version, network carrier/operator, mobile phone number, equipment identifier number- IMEI;

  • Credit Card Information (Privacy Policy)

When subscribing directly from PINS Solution Services, users will be required to use our integrated secured payment gateway to purchase their choice of subscription service. During the payment process, PINS Service Solutions uses a trusted third party (PAYSTACK, PAYPAL) to collect information such as Personal Bank transfer account details, credit/debit card number, expiry date and the security code.  Note that our agent has a limited information of the payment process.

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION?

  1. We may use your information in one of the following ways; to protect our subscriber’s mobile devices; to improve our product and services; to promote our services and develop new services; and to create de-identified or aggregate information about our users.
  2. We may use the gathered data such as email address or mobile number to send privacy or security related notices and notify you of major services change or update of our PINS Solution Services;
  3. We may use your provided email address and mobile number to communicate about product announcement, special promotions from PINS Solution Services, or to administer participation in special events;
  4. We may use customer’s data to provide personalised services unique to individual users. We may send users emails about special offers, new services, updates of our PINS Solution Services or other information that may be interesting for them.
  5. The email address you provide may be used to send you information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.

PROMOTIONS & OTHER INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US

This information will be used to provide you with additional information on products and services from PINS , which might be of interest to you. You can choose not to receive such marketing communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link in our emails. Just because you use our products or services and you voluntarily provide us with any other information, we may collect such data and use it for the purposes for which you provided such information, or as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.

WHO WE DO AND DON’T SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH

  • PINS Solution Services will not transmit data about a user without first obtaining user’s permission and providing the user with access to information about how and where the data will be used. We will not sell or share any of your personal information with other third parties unless they are directly involved in the recovery of the loss/stolen device, such as the law enforcement agencies.  
  • We do not share PINS subscriber information with Government, other apps, third party, data re-sellers, social networks, system re-sellers and Ad networks

WHAT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE

We cannot guarantee data protection of users outside the PINS Solution Services except confirmed and verified by us

DATA RETENTION POLICY

PINS Solution Services policy is to retain personally identifiable information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide our products and services to you and others or as otherwise required for legal compliance purposes. We may delete your data if your account is inactive and as otherwise provided in our Terms of Service. Currently for Data if you have not accessed our services for 90 consecutive days.

YOUR CHOICES

PINS Solution Services allow you to correct, update, delete or correct your profile information at any time. Protecting your privacy and security, we take practical steps to verify your identity before granting you password change. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information at all times.

WHAT TYPES OF INFORMATION DOES PINS MOBILE SECURITY COLLECT?

PINS Mobile Security features collect information about the type of device and operating system you are running so that we can both improve our products and also give you more accurate information about malware and spyware that might affect you and your device(s).

Information about scans and scan results: We collect information about the applications on your device in order to conduct scans and to download copies of scanned files. This may include downloading a copy of part or entire copies of application files on your device if we encounter an application that we have not previously analysed. Each time PINS performs a scan, we collect information that describes what applications are identified by the scan as potentially virus infected and your choice for remediation of those app (e.g., uninstall or ignore).

Note: You cannot remove the virus infected apps from PINS solution services, you can uninstall from the mobile device setting.

CLOUD BACKUP

PINS solution services cloud Backup feature stores data that you choose to back up from your mobile device.

PINS Solution Services cloud backup transmits a copy of the data you choose to back up to on your device to a server using an encrypted protocol. The data may include your contacts and pictures. PINS solution services Data Backup manually backs up your data, can enable a contact data retrieval back to your new or existing phone, and allows you to retrieve your data any time.

FIND MY PHONE

PINS Find My Phone service helps you track and find the exact location of your mobile device easily. You can pin point the exact location of your missing device on a map using location information provided by your phone.

PIN INTRUDER ALERT & SIM CARD REPLACEMENT TRACKING

Pin Intruder Alert feature uses your mobile phone’s camera and location features to help you figure out where your device might be (and who might have it) in the event that your device is lost or stolen. If Pin Intruder Alert is activated, the application monitors certain device behaviours to trigger user alerts, which may include: Incorrect password entries on your device or PINS mobile application’s lock screen; Removal or change of SIM cards; Enablement of airplane mode; and Powering down the device (not through a battery event).

PINS Anti-Theft capabilities starts Backup and activates your device’s camera remotely, without sound or other notification, and sends the resulting picture and its GPS coordinates to the email address associated with your account. For example, if someone steals your phone and fails to enter your correct password, removes your SIM card, or powers off your device, it allows you to see what they look like and pin points where they are without alerting them.

What types of information does Theft Alerts collect, if activated?

Passcode entry attempts and other technical device data.

  • In addition to the photographic and location information described above, the application keeps track of the device behaviours that trigger Theft Alerts.

How the information that Theft Alerts collects is used:

When Theft Alerts is activated and a photo is taken, the picture and location data are stored briefly on our servers so we can send you an email with the picture and a map of your device’s location. The picture is then deleted from our server. We send the email to the address associated with your account (or for Group Plans, to the address associated with the device that took the photo), so remember to keep your email address up to date in your account settings. We use technical information about Theft Alert’s activities on your device to study, optimize, and troubleshoot our products and also to gather required evidences for recovery purposes.

 

BY DOWNLOADING, SUBSCRIBING TO/ ACTIVATING “PINS SOLUTION SERVICES” I AGREE THAT:
